Pros

I liked what I did no matter what department I was in. Pay was ok, liked the 4 day schedule. Fellow workers were nice for the most part but my particular department lead played favorites with employees of her own ethnicity and made it very uncomfortable when they would "speak" amongst themselves.

Cons

Sent home several days a week. Insured job was secure, things just slow right now. When asked management about job security question was either avoided or told we don't know. Found out only "certain" employees were sent home. Laid off via email. Learned it was not a Total Department layoff as originally told. Promised to be called back, assured layoff was due only to lack of work not my performance and management was eager to bring me back. Others have been called back but I am still waiting! Unless you are in thick with your department lead you are at high risk of not being one of the lucky ones who got to continue collecting a paycheck since November.

The flexibility our temporary staff provides for us is critical to the success of our business and we value each and every temporary associate and the contributions they make to CTDI. That being said, we understand that it is very difficult when we have to reduce our temporary staff when our customer workload slows down and we empathize that you are disappointed we could not maintain your temporary assignment. We appreciate that you are eager to come back if the work picks up and please be assured that as a company we are committed to any and all employment decisions being made regardless of race, color, sex, age, religion, creed, marital status, national origin, or disability to the extent required by law.

Treats Workers Terribly

Pros

The break room is relatively clean. The paycheck is steady, unless there's a slowdown and then they'll let you go with no notice.

Cons

Want to work for years as a temp for years side by side with employees who were hired under different management that do less work and make way more money? That's CTDI. Live in constant fear for not meeting unrealistic goals. Goals that can only be met by cutting corners. Dangles promises of employment but only hires a handful a year. You will never be hired if you even think of taking a single sick day.

CTDI is proud to provide both our full-time employees as well as our valuable temporary agency staff with competitive wages and a positive working environment. We are also currently evaluating our business needs and looking to improve our temp-to-hire process to more quickly consider our strong performing temporary agency employees for full-time hire.

Pros

Not many if any. Company even encouraged driving to a training session 11 hrs from home location Instead of flying. Terrible policies.

Cons

Under paid and over worked for the job assigned. Also, company will go to extreme measures to find a way not to pay any overtime. One example: Can put in a 70 hr week and all that time was strait time because travel time not considered from one job location to next. Absurd policy and predatory company looking for desperate type workers so not to pay what you may earn.
