Pros
The work is simple to pick up. The workers are eager and pleasant.
Cons
There is little leadership, supervision, training, and no appreciation for the workers. They staff with temps who are not properly trained, but are held to very high expectations. For months we were told how well the branch was doing then found out the place was hemoraging cash when corporate stepped in. Half of the staff was terminated arbitrarily leaving the remaining folks in fear of their own termination. The corporate office sent senior management to conduct their annual physical inventory and thoroughly botched it simply by not planning and preparing or practicing the most basic protocols. They rarely promote people of color or women and when they do, fail to compensate employees for weeks. They cut costs through routine purges of associates. They staff with a temp agency which will literally hire anyone with a heartbeat if the prospect can pass a local background investigation, so CTDI can avoid paying benefits, holidays or sick time. No credentials are required. CTDI promises to permanently hire workers, but conveniently postpones it for various reasons and many have waited months, some up to years without a valid explanation. The company gave us Thanksgiving off without pay then had everyone come in on Sunday to make up for lost production time. CTDI isn't very efficient, well ordered, professional or profitable.
