Pros

Very easy work. Ok salary. Great benefits.

Cons

Company doesnt care about employees. Corporate micromanagement is extreme. The 5 years I worked there they went thru 5 branch managers and ops managers.

Pros

Location is easily accessible close to train.

Cons

My experience with the company was brief, 6 days, the training was brief, and it was sunk or swim shortly there after, though I was hired as repair, the quantity was the push.

CTDI's repair operations are world class. In just ten years, CTDI has totally revolutionized the STB / CPE service business and has become the global leader in both the cable and telecom service industries. CTDI has in-depth experience with many in-region, high-volume STB / CPE test, repair and logistics programs. This allows us to provide our customers a comprehensive end-to-end, integrated solution within our regional hubs such as the Denver area branch where you worked. Numerous OEMs have certified CTDI’s CPE operations and test systems to perform in-and-out-of-warranty test and repair services and we have received numerous quality awards throughout our operations. We wish you would have stayed longer to appreciate our respected repair operation!

Pros

The compensation over time is phenomenal. Every hourly employee gets a 0.5% raise every month until they cap out after their first year of employment. If you are passionately interested in repairing video equipment, this is a great job to have. Health benefits are nice. The training for new repair technicians is catered to best teach them the position. Strong team culture, lots of experienced techs to help those whom want to help themselves.

Cons

Sometimes the pressure of meeting daily goals for both individuals and the department can be overwhelming. There is a dire need to both update and streamline written processes in order to optimize the service that we provide our customer. I believe that we have all the tools to make the operation better, but what we lack are both the initiative as an organization and the flexibility to make the changes necessary. There are challenges, but there are many simple solutions that could be implemented to rise to meet them.
