Pros
Generally, very clean stores. The atmosphere of the stores is simply far more pleasant a place to spend several hours a day in than most retail stores. Other than an occasional day with an urgent and large work volume, the work environment is casual enough that a person can enjoy their time in the store.
Cons
Because most stores are smaller than many retail stores, the typical CVS can at times get busy for the amount of staff on hand. It is retail, so employees can expect to have to work at least some holidays and at least one weekend day - more if involved in management in any way (supervisors, assitants, and managers).
