      It has become a one way relationship

      Pros

      Schedule flexibility is the big one, also the comradery within the store that the managers can develope make it a good place to work.

      Cons

      The fact that hours have been cut so severely and the managers have to pick up the difference make it a very undesirable place to try to manage.

      Pros

      CVS is a great place to work if you like structure and rules. There are so many minute details that must be followed which makes it a well-oiled company. The employee discount is also very nice!

      Cons

      The rules are sometimes overwhelming because you are chastised if you do not follow them properly. I feel the pay is not as competitive as it should be for it to be such a powerful company.

      Pros

      Strong job security, easy to get in, wide salary range so you can negotiate it up easily, strong growing company.

      Cons

      Not a true "store manager" - hours are so tight you have to stock, unload trucks, ring, merchandise, basically do everything yourself. Very physical job.
