      I was very stressed out for the most part.

      Pros

      it provided a very challenging, fast paced work environment, if you like that sort of thing. company culture can be demanding.

      Cons

      I felt rushed and stressed out trying to get everything done. i tended to make too many mistakes that way. there was too much encouragement for political positioning with a couple of the employees to curry favor with the new management.. too much pressure with the 'no excuses' policy on not getting stuff done. it felt like they expected two days of work done in one day; nevermind how many customers there may have been in on any given day. i could barely keep up.

      CVS Pharmacy provides just an "okay" work/learning experience.

      The job is fairly simple. You can have a wide variety of responsibilities and have good opportunities to interact with customers.

      Cons

      Training is absolutely horrible. You watch a video your first day and then you're given a pamphlet. Not much actual training, so half the time you don't what the parameters of your responsibilities are.

      Pros

      Can begin to build a retail career. Depending on the store manager/district manager, the shift supervisor position varies from glorified cashier to real manager in training. No consistency. Can be a positive experience with good crew and management.

      Cons

      Company does not support its employees. Blame for deficiencies passed around like the plague. Support is not available for the amount of work necessary-not remotely close. Many aspects of corporate management are outright disgustingly inappropriate and evaluations and terminations seem to be based on a personal like or dislike rather than performance and established policy.
