Pros

Great learning environment for New Grad NP helps with learning time management and utilizing technology. Very autonomous environment. The clinic is your own. You work alone, no staff to be waiting on, no managers looking down at you. The pharmacy staff is very supportive, your colleagues are just a phone call or email away. Clinical guidelines are spelled out for you and available as a resource. I would like to mention technology again, this is tomorrow's healthcare and MinuteClinic is top notch for the scope of practice.

Cons

Pay is terrible. Bonus structure is not consistent or guaranteed. Time off is hard to come by. Benefits are terrible and almost a joke.

Pros

Somewhat competitive pay. Basically work 3 10 hr days. Don't really take work home with you. If you like to work alone I guess it's a good place to consider.

Cons

No support, benefits are getting worse, super busy, feel like a work horse. You do it all even down to mopping the floors at the end of the day!
