Pros

3point5.com discount eligibility. Flexible work hours.

Cons

All employees are severely underpaid. As a Lead Supervisor for the warehouse night shift the pay is $12.00 an hour, minimum wage is $9.04 in WA. The workload is extremely intense due to being grossly understaffed. Communication is non-existent between management to management and between management to employee. A team atmosphere was once preached but the turn over rate is so high that no one knows who they are working with or for.

Pros

The other Outfitters are about the only thing that keeps me coming to work. Some of the customers The discount is okay

Cons

TOTAL lack of communication from top to bottom. "Leaders" that are incapable of leading a parade much less a business. Most of the managers came from Walmart,Best Buy,Lowes and Home Depot. Cabela's is supposed to be more of an experience that going to pick up a toilet gasket or a gallon of paint. It appears that making bonus by keeping labor costs low is the primary goal of the Allen mangement team.

Pros

Working for an leading company in the Cast and Blast sector of the outdoor industry. Great discounts, especially with more years of service. Casual dress code. Some departments have a great work environment.

Cons

Change is not easily embraced by all people/departments. "Silo" effect is omnipresent in regard to interdepartmental communication. Some departments have highly disfunctional management. Higher than average rate of nepotism. "Dead Sea" effect and/or severe lack of work/life balance seems to happen in many fields. High gender inequality.
