Pros
I really do love almost everything about working at Cabela's--the culture, the values, the time they invest in their employees with lots of potential, their employee recognition, the growth opportunities, etc. I have worked for them for a little over a year and I am about to get my third promotion which just shows if you really work hard you can get ahead in this company.
Cons
It's retail first and foremost. That means you work most weekends, you close, you work holidays, pay isn't really livable for a family unless you're in management, and sometimes some crappy managers or outfitters slip through the cracks.
