      Pros

      Very good people to work with. I had good relationships with all of my coworkers. Plant management was very good. I thought there was good emphasis on safety overall. There was a good/work life balance.

      Cons

      There seemed to be limited opportunities to move up.

      Cabot has been a great company to work for, but recently seems to have made a turn for the worse.

      Pros

      Cabot is a company driven by the pursuit of excellence. It generally provides employees with the best equipment and best resources available. There are a lot of very talented people within the company. Overall, Cabot has the feel of a much smaller company than it is. I personally have been treated very well.

      Cons

      Recently, Cabot seems to be heading down the same road as our competitors. They are running to failure and buying the cheapest replacement equipment available. Experienced people have been either leaving the company or driven out by incompetent managers who don't listen to the experienced people around them. If the company is going to turn this trend around it will need to develop and promote the right people from within.
