Pros

The people are very supportive and eager to share their knowledge with each other. It is very common for R&D and other technical personnel to share their work with the business-side employees and vice versa. Management is very open without micro-managing. Most importantly, safety is the most important value and is embedded in Cabot's culture. Most employees have been there well over five years, which is a testament to overall satisfaction.

Cons

While it is good to strive to be the best, sometimes business targets, of which bonuses are based on, can be very aggressive

Pros

Company is big enough to give people global opportunities, and small enough where you have a chance to make a real difference. We have good people who are exceptional at what they do. Strong values throughout the company.

Cons

Focus can be too much on Boston. Work can be a bit siloed at times. Not sure how well we work across businesses and functions.
