      Pros

      If you are looking for an EDA company that is fairly stable, well paid, with good benefits. Cadence is the right company to work for. Being the second largest in this industry, you'll feel your job is important and satisfying.

      Cons

      Heavy internal politics will slow you down sometimes. This is really not a start-up-like, roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, type of company. If you are looking for a environment full of passion of innovations and creations, look somewhere else. But if you are looking for a fairly stable environment that you can have time with family and enjoy life. Cadence is the right place.
