Bureaucracy. The campus is still driven by paper and getting anything done is remarkably slow.

Good students. Motivated colleagues. Beautiful campus. Great retirement. It is a lively campus with a lot going on.

Cons

Faculty and administrators do not trust each other. The budget problems keep the campus from improving or moving forward.

The people who work there are helpful, and very knowledgeable. They will help you as much as they could if you needed it.

Cons

Hard to move up and get promoted unless the person about you retires. Hard to get raises because of the state budgets.
