Pros

The best part of the job is working with the children. They are adorable and you become attached to them. I learned a lot about ABA here and it looks good on my resume.

Cons

When i started the company was very friendly and it felt like family. since lots of people have left. its entirely new staff working there due to high turnover rates. training is inadequate. When reaching out to supervisors for help it feels like you are bothering them. Schedules are a mess daily. typically 9 to 10 hour days. company refuses to allow over time.

I am happy to hear that you learned a lot about ABA, and the experience provided can be translated to future career growth. Every ABA provider struggles with retention, but we are always collecting feedback from our employees for ways to improve. We provide consistent hours, and as other providers may have lost clients, we remain strong in expanding services in the Central Valley. Our new hire training is structured around the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's credentials for RBTs, and we ensure that all RBTs remain competent in their roles for development for career advancement. Lastly, we are not against overtime and provide it when necessary. We want to offer a work-life balance, so we do our best to ensure that the work day does not exceed 8 hours, but if it does, we pay the overtime. We are committed to training our supervisors and growing from the feedback of current and past employees.
