      No Politics, you get broad experience and learn everyday as a TAC Engineer, small company more team bonding's. Good company strategy, excellent customer satifaction

      Work life balance 5/10, vacations limitations, less people more work, no bonuses

      Pros

      Great upper management. Unbeatable benefits. Sincere, straight shooting CEO that doesn’t dish out or take crap from anyone.

      Cons

      Satellite offices are step children. HQ @ Petaluma is bursting at the seams with employees. Some employees are even given cubicles in the kitchen area, there is no intention of expanding in Petaluma. Most of the talent retained from the Occam acquisition has left out of frustration of middle management or boredom.

      Pros

      Calix is in a great place with all of the technology and demand for Internet access. We are a leader in broadband access equipment.

      Cons

      There is no downside to working for Calix. It demands your best but it is a satisfying place to work. I have enjoyed a very rapid five years.
