      Upward Mobility Sucks

      Pros

      Centralization (access to busses). Flexibility. Pays the mortgage.

      Cons

      Not many opportunities for advancement. Work goes unrecognized. If you are not an engineer, you are usually out of the loop for work recognition. It doesn't matter how much time or effort you have put in. If you are not part of a circle or don't kiss enough bump, you will have a hard time. Too many politics.

      Great management team. Great staff support. Provided excellent opportunities for upward mobility

      Cons

      Too strict on time and tardiness. No leniency. Too much work load. Need more staff support that are not temp jobs

      Able to learn about what caltrans does and how it relates to maintaining the freeway with electronics

      Cons

      Very unorganized, very few job opportunities. The internship ends upon graduation and they will do you no favors in helping you get a job
