Very flexible work schedules Employee Owned Organization Taking the health and safety of the employees seriously Constant improvement on processes HR Department has been a pleasure to work with

Need a lot more work on being heard by the Leadership. Sometimes the voice of 1 determines the path of many. If you speak loud enough it doesn't matter what you are saying is true, it becomes the truth!

Thank you for taking the time to leave this valuable feedback. My favorite part is the part about HR... The Caltrol Leadership team is working on listening to what the staff has to say. The recent employee survey had similar comments and the Leadership team is taking it seriously. My advise is to keep speaking up.

Benefits are ok, but do not like the health care benefits

Cons

Management does not keep employees up to date on what is going on in the company. Most decisions are made behind closed doors and the lower level employees are not kept up to date. Thought since this was an ESOP company, the employees would be more involved. Moral is very low, but management doesn't seem to care. No transparency unless you are friends with upper management then you get all the latest news while others are just kept in the dark.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I agree that Caltrol has been in limbo for a bit, waiting for the transition to happen between the previous CEO and the new CEO. To be honest, I'm not sure if the information wasn't shared, or if there simply wasn't information to share, because until our new CEO came on board we didn't have a firm direction. After one month with a new CEO our direction is taking shape!

Most of the employees are pleasant.

Cons

The morale is very low for such a small company. This speak alot to HR. Not personable nor professional. Speak to employees loud and rude with her door open.
