      Pros

      Caltrol is an employee-owned company - such a luxury in this day! I am very fortunate to be an owner of Caltrol knowing that I am saving for retirement AND the company contributes too!!!! The people that work here are fantastic!!--and know what they are doing!! they take pride in their work and are very helpful. there are also company wide activities - bbq's, pot lucks, and always something going on. - it's a great team!!!! The management is open-door and willing to listen to you AND they listen!! They are very helpful and always looking for improvements. Benefits are awesome. floating holidays, a great time-off program and the medical benefits are very competitive in this market! I am proud of being a part of Caltrol!

      Good training but not good long term career choice

      ESOP program could lead good retirement Good learning opportunity for the process control industry Good work life balance

      Cons

      Weak and closed door management team Sour/Negative Culture......many employees felt taken advantage of Salary was well below the California Market High Employee Turnover

      Thank you for your feedback. One of Caltrol's core values is Excellence through a culture of continual improvement. Caltrol is exploring ways to improve communication up AND down the chain of command. We are currently making changes to the role of the ESOP Committee to be this voice of the people and express these types of concerns to Caltrol's leadership team, up to and including the President. The goal is to have an outlet for our employee owners to express these opinions and be a part of the improvement process.

      Pros

      *Great Salary *Great Benefits *Earn 3 weeks of PTO out of the gate - then 4 after 3 years!! *Plus 3 Floating holidays I can take at any time!! *Process Improvement opportunities! *EMPLOYEE OWNED!!! *I will NEVER miss my child's big game or school play. *I get to own my job! *Every day is a new opportunity to take control of my future!!

      Cons

      I wish my boss knew more of what I do, so if I get into the weeds, help is easier to obtain.
