      Pros

      I have worked at Caltrol for 10 years before retiring at the end of 2023. Today’s Caltrol is quite different than it was ten years ago and is currently managed by a very competent team. It’s always been a great place to work. Today the culture is one of empowering everyone to succeed. As employee owners AND because we all share our success via profit sharing bonuses, everyone is vested in contributing to everyone’s success. It’s easy to commit to long term employment at Caltrol as demonstrated by many employees having been there a very long time. Talent is recognized and all employees are valued and nurtured.

      Cons

      As a sales channel serving many industries Caltrol is not immune to challenges that occasionally rise due to market, economic climate, supply chain issues, or other factors that affect the market they serve and the business environment as a whole. They are however well diversified and have managed to consistently do well even during challenging times as demonstrated by consistent sales growth and business results.

      Caltrol has been a great company to work for in that its culture promotes personal growth and prosperity while creating an environment where everyone can share ideas and opinions.

      Cons

      In 15 years, I can say that I dont see any Cons with working for Caltrol.

      Cons

      Slow to adapt & change. Career development can be challenging if you are not vocal.
