Pros

Big enough that you don't have to worry about the company having financial issues, small enough that you don't get lost in the crowd. Mike Cannon is a great guy and I enjoy working for him.

Cons

The company management grew up in the company so some of them never really got training in people management and management in general. It shows sometimes.

Pros

During my employment at Cannon Companies I have had multiple opportunities to better myself and my future. Such as; Obtaining my Class A CDL Drivers License, which has been a great achievement, and Two years ago I was promoted to a construction superintendent. As a construction superintendent I was accountable for overseeing jobs, promoting jobsite safety and ensuring the crew is safe. I was also responsible for managing the projects daily activities. Mike Cannon has given these opportunities to me because I exemplify; honesty, trust, and the eagerness to learn and grow my future. I am thankful for working for such a positive and encouraging mentor who is helping me plan a future. I look forward to retiring with Cannon Companies.

Cons

If you are dedicated to making a career, and understand that you'll have to go above and beyond, then Cannon Companies is a good fit. If you are looking for a paycheck, and don't want to put in any extra time or effort towards your future. Then Cannon Companies wouldn't be a good career choice.

Absolutely the best company I've ever worked for, and I've worked for some great ones.

Pros

Obvious advanced hiring process as 98% of current employees are guaranteed rarities in their respective fields, and the owner is one in a billion and works hand in hand with his employees.

Cons

I've been here for one year, and the few flaws I have found do not warrant being mentioned as legitimate "cons."
