The Chicago office is pretty diverse, in a great location, and offers a lot of benefits.

Cons

It is incredibly top heavy. The pay is not competitive and they are not transparent about how much people make.

We agree our Chicago office is pretty neat 😊 For staff salaries, equity is extremely important to our firm, and we have measures in place to ensure salaries are fair and competitive. An individual’s salary will always vary based on geography, experience, and other job-related factors, but we encourage every employee to have honest conversations with their supervisor about salary expectations. Great place to receive mentorship for young architects and be part of the team & advance for mature designers.

Cons

Nothing negative. But the size of the firm may be a bit overwhelming in the beginning.

I experienced a very small amount of great coworkers but they did exist.

Cons

Where do I start? Pay sucks, upper management lies directly to your face about decisions that effect your career, overall you aren't going anywhere in this company. They may give you a title change after 10+ years working there but any level of management was all hired from the outside. I interned for this company for 3 years and when I came on full time I was treated like an intern until I had to quit. It was such a waste of time thinking that effort and loyalty meant something.
