Pros

The Cafeteria has great food if you work 1st shift!!! Employees are nice for the most part. A set schedule. Great Christmas Parties every other year. You will get experience, they will work you to death in every department.

Cons

Top Heavy!! Low wages for the amount of work that is expected of you. Not a lot of diversity in management definitely a "good ole boy connection". Pigeon holed into positions not a lot of room for upward movement.

Pros

Decent benefits. Diverse population (excluding upper management).

Cons

Cronyism, politics, and favoritism displayed from management and HR members. Unfair payment practices (new college grads with BS in engineering making ~15k+ more than others in similar positions who either have a degree in another field or no degree at all, but may have years of experience in manufacturing). Non-anonymous suggestion system that HR responds to with comments that do not address the actual issue (example: Q- "Will a housing allowance be considered to counter the rising rent prices?" A - "We have a year-end bonus for which members may be applicable based on performance."). Lack of salary transparency. Many incompetent individuals in senior positions. Base level employees with engineering degrees are automatically promoted within approx. a year and a half after joining company (a pro if you have an engineering degree). Lack of consistency within methods and systems from area to area (even if procedures are present, most management either does not express that knowledge or just doesn't enforce amongst members). Departmental responsibilities are frequently unclear.
