      Pros

      Everyone who worked here was very nice and they were up to date on technology.

      Cons

      It feels like working in a cult. Because the pay is so low they try to make up for it with the family team culture, they give out free snacks, and promote how much they value employees with benefits. Benefits aren't pay, full stop. Also 90% of their benefits are already offered at national employers. Stingy unfair PTO system. Also no overtime and they wouldn't necessarily *promote* clocking out and finishing additional tasks but it was an unspoken transgression. The hours in the Comm Center were awful. No say over your schedule, had to work in person 100% of the time when they listed the job posting as partially remote.

      Pros

      Canvas is a company that really listens to their employees as well as their members to help drive the business strategy and vision. I appreciate all the value the organization places on the employee culture.

      Cons

      Like most companies right now- Canvas continues to try to do more with less which can be challenging to balance with meeting business goals and member service.
