      Pros

      Smart people and great talent. Excellent work life balance and competitive compensation compared to other consulting firms.

      Cons

      Biggest problem for the DC office lies within the culture. As recent reviews have pointed out, the drinking culture is out of hand, lending itself to inappropriate and questionable situations. Sadly, there are several harassment stories resulting from these events and it does not seem like CapTech has handled these well. Serious lack of diversity (race, gender, sexual orientation), especially among senior leadership.

      A Great Place to Build a Career

      Pros

      I have been with the company for several years after working for another well known consulting firm. In comparison, I am impressed with the overall culture and the growth opportunities afforded. I have been able to assume much greater client responsibilities and take on account leadership duties as well. I feel like I can progress as quickly as I am ready. Office leadership has been responsive as well to my desire to get involved with outside interest groups and CapTech also headlines community outreach events which is important to me. I enjoy feeling like I can develop professionally while staying connected to my outside interests.

      Cons

      CapTech has seen tremendous growth the past few years and sometimes the growing pains appear when putting in place new processes around compensation and coaching. CapTech is not perfect but they have put in place mechanisms to get feedback from the market and its employees and they act on that feedback. CapTech’s heart is in the right place.
