Pros

CapTech is a high growth company, which means there is a lot of opportunity for you to grow your career with the company. Think of it as a mature start-up. You can volunteer to help with corporate projects which will be impactful to the growth of the company. There are issues (covered in the Cons section), but generally - Leadership will do the right thing in the end. They do care about people in the end. It just takes them awhile to act.

Cons

There is a trend of consultant burnout due to overwork on client sites. If consultants are working 50 to 70 HR work weeks and raise it as an issue, the likely response from leadership will be “hang in there!” That is not a good response - do better. Step in, work with clients, and shield consultants from overwork. That's the role of leadership!! People cannot work this much without starting to break down. It isn’t like this at other companies. Captech will continue to lose good consultants who do not want to work that many hours, and have little work-life balance. Also, CapTech's reputation will sink if burnout continues (clients notice it too). Captech needs to seriously look at who they are hiring in leadership roles and promoting to high-up leadership roles. Because of Captech's rapid growth, they have hired a good amount of new leadership, but without proper vetting. Some Account Managers shows up late for work, shop on the internet in clear view of the client, and leave the client site early - all while people on the account are working 50-70 hour weeks. This is very embarrassing and not a good trend for Captech. Many of these recent leadership DC Office leadership promotions seem to be made on favoritism.

Pros

One of CapTech's core strengths is hiring great people. This means, that once you're in the door, you have the privilege of working with some of the best and brightest in the industry. I love CapTech because they hire the right people, not ONLY the right skills.

Cons

As mentioned, CapTech is growing quickly, so you have to be able to come up with a plan and execute. Though the 'coaching culture' makes it easy to speak your mind, nobody is going to tell you where to take your career. You have to be ready to drive that forward yourself.
