Pros

There are good projects where you get to use new technology, and learn a lot

Cons

There are bad projects where you use dated technology and it is a pain You have to be comfortable with saying NO often (mostly turning down internal work on top of client engagements), you will end up working more than 40hrs a week.

Thank you for your review! We have incredible clients who are leaders in their respective industries and have needs across the board from AI, innovation, and machine learning, to brand identity builds and agile transformation. At times these clients may have needs that are not as tech-forward, but still important to their business. We’re happy to know they trust us with all their needs. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR

Good but the Golden Days are Over

Pros

CapTech is a solid company; coworkers are friendly and very competent. Work is interesting. Like everyone else, there were layoffs, and those that have work are happy to keep it. Management seems seems to be going above and beyond to get the company moving in a difficult economy. There hasn't been a significant push for return-to-office, but that's likely largely client-driven (and could change).

Cons

Things have shifted from looking for your ideal engagement to just getting on an engagement, with the commensurate shift in the company supporting a consultant's chosen path (within the company's offerings) to supporting only the company's chosen path (very few trainings and certs are funded). Similarly, even minimal/modest expenses for team-building and in-person events won't get reimbursed anymore.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts with us. Yes, like many companies this year, we faced headwinds, but our leadership team has navigated us through a challenging economy and made sure our company stayed strong while looking toward the future. We are fortunate to work with industry-leading clients who partner with us on challenging, tech-forward, and interesting projects. We want everyone to find a long-standing and fulfilling career with CapTech and “Growing Your Own Way” is part of our Employee Value Proposition. I encourage you to speak with your Coach about your engagements and your growth path to see how we can better support you. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR
