Pros

- Fun networking events - Very good pay, at least in my office - Generally speaking, CapTech has the resources to train you and allow you to grow if you're willing to put in the time - Compensation is good, it's very competitive salary and benefits - The people you'll work with all (generally speaking) are smart people, CapTech does seem to hire some strong workers, at least in my office. A lot of chances to learn from your coworkers

Cons

- Extreme lack of diversity and inclusion, which unfortunately CapTech seems to be blind to. They have created a Diversity and Inclusion board but it's short sighted and doesn't answer a glaring issue with CTV and that's: Leadership is dominated by white males with very similar backgrounds. Every business school will tell you that more diversity leads to stronger problem solving through diversity in opinions and view points. It felt often that black and queer people were ignored. - A lot of your promotions is based on internal projects and their visibility. If you were on a busy project that ate more than 40 hrs/wk and couldn't contribute to a high visibility internal project, then you'll most likely get passed up for promotions. - Management doesn't always have your back. It's a consulting firm so the Client gets what they want. This is somewhat expected, unfortunately.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and for your contributions to CapTech. We agree that a diverse workforce can only benefit our teams and the clients we serve. While we have made great strides in our recruiting practices and in building our culture around diversity, inclusion, and belonging, there is still more work to be done. If you have any thoughts on how we can improve in the areas you mentioned, please contact me directly. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you. --Katy Apostolides, HR Director

Pros

-Leadership in specific offices -Great work/life balance -Many opportunities to get involved internally

Cons

-PTO policy is not very transparent (Holidays are included in overall PTO total) -A lot of lip service given to Diversity initiatives, but censorship and trepidation prevail when it comes to action -What office you're in dictates the culture - I've find my home office to be more inclusive, less chauvinistic, with leaders that are willing to go to bat for their people (especially with DIB and equity initiatives). This is not the case for all offices. -Promotions are based heavily on visibility instead of good work.

Thank you for your review and your contributions to CapTech. We agree and believe that a strong culture is rooted in the practice of balancing work life and home life and we appreciate knowing that this has positively impacted your experience as a CapTecher. Every piece of feedback we receive is important and the concerns you raise around PTO clarification, office culture, the promotion process, and DIB initiatives helps us to improve the experience for all CapTechers. Thank you! If there is anything you would like to discuss in more detail, I am here to listen. Pros

Great people throughout the organization, especially from upper management (Director) on down, who are engaged and desire strong personal connection.

Cons

Strong lack of resources dedicated to organizational leadership of people and operations - what made for a lead small company is now introducing challenges as they continue to scale. Leadership lacks transparency and struggles to make connection to workforce, provide true people leadership, and operate from a place of collaboration and teamwork.
