Pros

Friendly working culture, good Human Capital team.

Cons

IT is fairly poor. Integration of the parent company is pushing on and the local help desk aren't as helpful as they could be.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoy working at Capco - our distinctive culture, lack of hierarchy and family feel is something which we pride ourselves on. Our culture is something which we are committed to fostering as Capco continues to grow as a firm. We also recognize that our people are what make this firm great - consulting is a people business and we will continue to hire top talent and develop and reward our people. The Human Capital team partners closely with the business to ensure that our people initiatives and offerings are market leading, fit for purpose and support our people and the firm to be successful. We are disappointed to hear of your experiences with IT and would suggest that if you have any feedback or suggestions for improving the service that you raise these via the appropriate channels, so that action can be taken.

Pros

The people and culture are great! The work is challenging and rewarding. Loved the work schedule - Mon - Thurs (4 - 10s).

Cons

The pay was low but I guess was comparable for the area. The work station was constantly changing which caused disruption in getting work done.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted to hear that you found the work challenging and rewarding - Capco's sole focus on the financial services industry, culture of meritocracy and lack of hierarchy affords our people unrivaled access to leadership, interesting and challenging roles and opportunities to progress quickly based on performance. We are disappointed to hear that you found the pay low, since Capco regularly undertakes compensation reviews to ensure that these are competitive in line with our competitors. We also aim to provide positive work environments reflected by our Capco offices, however, we appreciate that many of our people are not always able to work from our offices due to the nature of consulting. Where possible, we encourage our people to come "back to base" whenever possible for specific events or to catch up with colleagues.

Pros

Salary is above market rate

Cons

One of the worse experiences of more than 15 years in my professional career in FS. Bullying, bodyshopping, too much bench time, lack of direction from senior management, broken promises - need I go on?! Worth taking 10%-20% less elsewhere than working for this incompetent organisation.

Thank you for your feedback. At Capco, our people are our priority and we are very disappointed to hear about your experience. We have stringent policies in place in relation to bullying and we are committed to ensuring that all our people can be themselves at work. Bullying, in any form, is not tolerated in the firm and we take this matter very seriously, with a commitment to investigating and reporting back to the individual on the outcome. Similarly integrity is one of our core values and something we look to reflect in all our behaviors and interaction with both clients and people. Your feedback suggests that we may have fallen short of our high standards in both these areas and we are very disappointed to learn that and even more disappointed that we have not had the chance to respond. If you haven’t already done so, then we would strongly encourage you to speak with your HR Business Partner and/or Coach regarding your specific concerns so that these can be addressed. You may also wish to contact our global HR Director, Richard Gartside directly, who would be happy to discuss and address your concerns. As you note we do aim to out pay the competition in the market but we are also committed to building an inclusive culture in which everyone can build a rewarding career.
