Pros

Lots of room for improvement and growth, great management, and coaching support. The projects are interesting, have lots of opportunities, and are complex. The HR department has greatly improved over the last 2 years since they have hired more resources to support the fast growing company.

Cons

Base pay is likely less than the Big 4 consulting firms

Thanks for the very positive feedback on the firm. It is good to hear from our employees first hand that the firm’s growth is translating into enhanced opportunities and career progression for our people. Your feedback on pay however is not accurate. We benchmark our base salaries and total reward regularly against our main competitors, including the Big4 using an incumbent survey. As a result, we are very confident that on a total reward basis, Capco leads the relevant pay market for all our people and especially for our best performers. Other feedback on this forum regularly confirms this.

Pros

Capco is a firm that is growing, expanding the client base and diversifying. - Much broader client base and on many more PSLs than we used to be - Increase in capability and domain advisory work - Limited bureaucracy to go through if you have an idea and are passionate about it - regardless of level, you won't see the seniors scrambling over good ideas that you do see in competitors - Continued focus on the individual in terms of performance mgt, compensation and well-being - Talented individuals and very engaged and well-functioning teams - Due to grow in a challenging year, something the competition cannot match

Cons

- Relatively thin back office means the consulting workforce does much of the operational side of things too - albeit good to understand how the company actually plans, forecasts and recognises revenue etc - Not unique to Capco, but more a consultancy-wide thing - sometimes a case of timing and some strong individuals who have a niche skill may find themselves in a less suitable role - Now at the scale where parts of Capco may feel different to others due to size (size and sale being a good thing)
