Instructors are great and easy to work for. Nice environment, understanding about classes and working with schedule.

Working here was a great experience. Nothing negative to report.

Pros

Very positive environment generally, although some departments have more politics and "personalities" than others. State employee benefits-good but not what they used to be.

Cons

Doesn't pay market rates for a given position v/s private companies, however that is fairly tightly controlled by the state community college system. you have to basically get a promotion to get a raise.

Pros

Continuing Education was a great department to be introduced to various disciplines. Higher level management offered growth and opportunities to become computer oriented with the ranks of education.

Cons

Department resulted in restructuring on various levels which caused my position to be eliminated along with supervisory management.
