      Not safe to work @ Altran US corp - Burlington

      you are only safe as long as you are billing.

      Cons

      one can be terminated at anytime. I was given termination notice in just 10 days after client project came to end though I have delivered my projects on time. only reason is they were not able to find another assignment for me.

      Based on my experience working remotely: This company truly treats it's people ike they are business partners, not just employees. I am not in management, or in a senior position, but I am treated as if my role is just as important. - Pay is good - Great and low cost health benefits - Decent vacation and PTO - Treated like an adult with responsibility; there is no micromanagement. - Diverse and highly qualified work force, with endless opportunities to grow professionally and in knowledge -

      Cons

      With this company being so big, and international, it sometimes takes time to get the information or answers you need. In the beginning, things seem unclear, but be patient.

      Revolving door as people realize what the company really is like

      Pros

      Management is so disorganized, you can work for three or more months while you look for a real job. They seem to hire just about anyone.

      Cons

      Low salary and very low bonuses. Poor benefits. "Confidential" surveys really are not. Get everything in writing as institutional memory is very short. Job shop were people are not treated as an asset. Foliage in Boston purchased by Altran and then Capgemini with employees being treated worse with each re-organization.
