      Please stay away, especially if fresh out of college

      Pros

      The culture can be fun, and there will be periods of time where you are getting paid to do absolutely nothing but check your emails.

      Cons

      If you are looking to grow your career as an engineer, please run far away from this company. Especially if you are new to engineering, this company can’t do anything for you. You’ll be thrown onto teams where you’re being asked to do senior-level stuff with associate-level knowledge. Or worse, you won’t be put on a project at all, and you’ll be laid off after a year with nothing on your resume. Be warned.

      Cons

      No room for advancement, horrible raises, no such thing as “work life balance”, cubicles are too small. Work is being offshore which means layoffs. This place is a MESS!!! Don’t come here unless you have really, reallly have to and even then I suggest you think twice.

      Pros

      I met some very enjoyable and dynamic people in this role. A lot of opportunities for professional learning and development.

      Cons

      Toxic culture. Serious weak links in the management chain, unwillingness to listen, and even greater unwillingness to take meaningful action, problems just pile up. Revolving door, my group saw over 400% turnover during a period of 2.5 years. Lack of willingness to be realistic with customers. Benefits not great.
