Pros
Only team members there is good
Cons
I worked at Capgemini for over two years, and unfortunately, my experience was largely negative. While Capgemini is often perceived as a major global consulting firm, internally it operates more like a mid-tier company. One of the biggest issues I faced was the extremely low compensation, which was far below industry standards. Despite the poor pay, the workload continuously increased over time, with little to no regard for work-life balance. The project I was assigned to was, without exaggeration, one of the worst I’ve ever seen. It was poorly managed, chaotic, and deeply demoralizing. There was no clear direction, and leadership often lacked the competence or willingness to address critical issues. Without any prior discussion or consent, I was abruptly moved to a different team. This transition was handled in a completely unprofessional manner. Later on, I was put under pressure by management and essentially forced to resign. It felt like I was being pushed out simply to make room for someone else or meet internal metrics. Overall, I cannot recommend Capgemini to anyone looking for a stable, respectful, or rewarding work environment. My time there was disappointing and disheartening, and I hope others can avoid a similar experience.
