      A company in trouble

      Pros

      Extravagant salaries, a luxurious campus, free coffee, and an inflated self-image.

      Cons

      A deliberately blind leadership, a cutthroat culture, a business climate of planned obscurity. No org charts are allowed, HR policies are largely unwritten in order to remain legally untouchable, and a planned "good old boy" system that ensures that if you're not "in," you're quickly out. They are rapidly losing market share due to an outdated business model. Because of their culture, rapid change is impossible.

      Rewards Obedience, Not Hard Work

      Pros

      When I started, they were forward thinking and working toward a better future with great work life balance.

      Cons

      Switched management in 2022/2023 and became SUPER conservative. Trying to get everyone to come back to the office 5 days a week when we were WFH 2 days/week even before COVID. Insane favoritism, if you don’t suck up to leadership your career will go nowhere. They don’t reward free thinking and innovation, just obedience.

      - 401k retirement plan is top notch - health insurance/benefits are great - work life balance (for the most part)

      Cons

      - company politics - slow career progression - RTO went from 2x/week to 3x/week; company will be requiring 4x/week RTO for the business starting in September 2025 (IT remains 3x/week) - promotions are far and few between for those who deserve it - DE&I initiatives feel fake and forced
