Pros

I can't think of any! At least for the marketing department!

Cons

Constant layoffs Monthly change in management - you'll have a new manager every month! No structure - very unorganized Politics and favoritism Redundant daily meetings I'd say stay away from this firm, especially the marketing department.

Pros

The benefits are somewhat competitive. They offer 2 bonuses a year, one within the range of 12-25% and the second “summer” bonus is less than 5%. They contribute 15% into your retirement account but there is no 401k matching. Also, no profit sharing. Without 401k matching and profit sharing, the 15% to your master retirement account works out to be close or about the same as other IMs who match and provide profit sharing.

Cons

Multiple managers for one team but managers are not involved with line duties whatsoever. The only interaction employees have with their managers is during weekly team meetings or during their bi weekly one on ones. Also, management changes departments almost annually so there is not much stability for many teams. Managers also stay at the company long term so very difficult for regular employees to move up here. Turnover seems to be high for some teams as the processes are quite manual. Everything that is done requires uses of multiple applications, sometimes more than 10. Continuous improvement is a goal but your ideas will sit in the queue unless someone else in charge can push for them to happen. This company is VERY meeting heavy (over communication) so you’ll spend half your day or more in meetings instead of doing production work. This also causes the headcount to increase as there is less time to do real work so they need more employees to fulfill the goals/SLAs. The pay is not great for the amount of work they expect you to do here. Daily overtime and some weekends are required for our department. Inflation hit hard but no adjustment was done to accommodate. RTO will be forced come 2023 even though they claim to care about our opinions but never asked for it. Flexibility is non existent unless you have a great relationship with your manager then you can get away with not coming into the office when expected. Also for people who wonder why the company hire external candidates, it is because they want new ideas from outsiders because people who have been with the company for 10-30 years cannot bring anything new to the table.

Pros

Great benefits, especially retirement and tuition reimbursement. Great co-workers overall. Made some lifelong friends over the years. Good opportunities for "extra-curricular" activities Salary is average to above average

Cons

Middle Management - do not listen, care or understand what associate's goals and/or talents are, just want them to conform rather than trying to help them find a better role. As a whole the company is slow to change and adapt to the times/narrow minded when it comes to innovations for the future. Unable to move from an operations role to an analyst role unless you have an Ivy League degree.
