Pros
I usually am very indifferent to company reviews because I realize that the experience of any one person can depend on many reasons including your direct supervisor, expectations of the job before and after you start, and so many other factors. The biggest way to gauge company sentiment is to just listen to the random comments people around you make.
I will say that in my short time working here, it's been a great experience because of the culture and the people. The people here are honest, they have their gripes about the company like any other employee does, but they still love their job. They get frustrated about things that are beyond their control, but they still love what they do. The pay is good compared to companies in our industry and there is constant feedback on my performance which motivates me to continue to do a better job.
I like that senior management wants to attract the best talent in the city and doesn't settle for less. They understand that a good culture fit sometimes exceeds experience or industry knowledge. For the most part, they have always been respectful, kind and are appreciative of my efforts. I've never felt micro-managed in my role which is one thing that I appreciate. My direct manager has been very supportive of my feedback and appreciates my efforts.
