Pros

- Priorities are set intentionally which is far from the early start up mindset of "everything is a priority" - You can room to experiment with new technology through dedicated quarterly days - When there are complaints, it seems like generally management tries to address them in good faith - Really great and thoughtful group of engineers with particularly strong DevX and Platform teams that really remove roadblocks in the development/deploy processes - Heavy investment in tooling for engineers - There are lot of great benefits like catered lunches, a coffee bar, and a mix of cash and stock bonuses based on performance. There are a number of perks that I've never had in other companies and I'm constantly still discovering new perks

Cons

- Teams can feel pretty silo-ed - Compared to previous companies, there tends to be less collaboration, you really have to take it upon yourself to engage with others

Pros

Benefits are good- health insurance/ employer 401k match (pretty standard nowadays for companies this established honestly)

Cons

Calendars full of pointless meetings where corporate jargon is just thrown around without much meaning ("moving the needle" and such). Constant changes to internal processes in the name of improvement... really just so management has something they can say they're "working" on imo. Commission structure is terrible and the checks are low unless you're someone that wants to work 80 hours a week and constantly be on call for your book of business. Forget about being able to afford your own 1B place in the city where they choose to operate. A lot of people here have an additional part time job to get by.
