GIVE YOUR SALES PEOPLE HOURLY PLUS COMISSION, CONSIDER ALL THE APPRAISALS WE HAVE TO DO AND NOT GET PAID

Pros

Customers are awesome and every situation is different, so you are constantly learning new things. Co-workers are great and it's a great team environment.

Cons

Commission only pay is very unpredictable. When business is slow, pay is down. Although the team environment is pretty good, you always have a few bad apples that only care about themselves. We are suppose to be a TEAM!

Pros

You can be honest. Nothing works better in sales than direct eye contact and it is near impossible to do so without being honest. Carmax allows you to do so.

Cons

To make a considerable salary you have to step out of the 9-5. It becomes necessary to either network well or work on many of your days off.
