Pros

I have served on other values based organizations, and prefer it when they can speak to the "why" of what they do. They have a clearly listed set of values that makes it easy to work towards the company goals. I found the organization to be very generous with the tools provided to my staff (LinkedIn Learning, Talent Insights, Recruiter Seats, etc.). My team was well resourced coming into my role, and that is appreciated. The bi-weekly town-halls are very helpful in understanding the company, and if you work here you want to make the effort to see them.

Cons

Technology is a bit confusing. This is a company that was built with fairly rapid acquisition over a recent time period, and they have not ironed out who is on what technology package (i.e., some use Teams, some use Slack, some use Skype, some use......etc.,)

Pros

Annual bonus, RSU. The sign on bonus offsets the very low hourly pay. A very few people seem happy to stay.

Cons

Most are leaving or planning to leave. If you look at the financial situation in the news, I don’t think the annual bonus and RSU’s will be as great as they once were.

Pros

- Great co-workers - Direct Lab Supervisors are caring and compassionate and knowledgeable.

Cons

- 4 CLS have left in past 2 months, 2 CLS have gotten jobs elsewhere and are barely part time now. - Low pay for Bay area even including RSU's, annual bonus, and benefits package. Probably at least 20% under average market rate for the area. - Low shift differential for the bay area -CEO has refused to give a market rate adjustment that current employees have asked for multiple times which is the main cause of CLS leaving for established companies (not startups) that pay in mid 60's or higher base along with a bonus and RSU package. - Very little cross training, so most people do the same thing most days and serious gaps in workflow knowledge if anyone takes a day off.
