Compensation not true performance based, too many managers, too many paper pushers. Too few really talented managers, too many politicians and 'old boy' networking.

Decent pay structure Decent benefits Good Work Life balance

Cons

Very mediocre management at the VP level and Director level. Does not take much to be a Director or VP. In any other organization, these folks won't be even 3rd tier managers. Some of the VPs and Directors in the Member and Provider space are inexperienced and immature and they have created a culture of threat and intimidation. As a result, recently, some of the best people have started to leave the company taking with them valuable institutional knowledge.
