Their name is a joke

Pros

None now or the foreseeable future.

Cons

They have ruined the practice that I loved. We were known for great medicine at reasonable prices. Carevet promised they wouldn't change the way we practiced- lied! Everything is about the money with them , and they have reduced the budget so that we could not sell the products that clients want, and raised the prices on the remaining ones to ridiculous levels. They nit pick and micromanage everything because their management and headquarters staff are bloated, while reducing frontline staff that do the work. Find any other veterinary practice to work for; these people are the worst of the worst.

Just don’t

Pros

$15/hr minimum Health benefits Small bonuses

Cons

They claim raises are available but the people who are responsible for giving them work in upper corporate and will tell you they couldn’t possibly know whether you deserve one because they don’t know your experience, AKA you will never get a raise. They will put the duties of any short staffed positions on you if the position is suddenly empty- INCLUDING manager duties such as ordering inventory for the hospital and dealing with upset clients who want to speak to a manager. They raise the prices on everything every two minutes and expect you to continually convince clients that it’s somehow worth it when they’re charging $50 more than 2 months ago. The company has a mental health line just so they can claim to care, but if you ever have to actually use the helpline, you will feel like a burden and like if you say the wrong thing you will be let go. The company has putt-putt golf at their main head quarters for morale I guess, but won’t pay people with 5+ years of experience more than someone who just started. If they agree to, you have to point it out to them that what they’re doing is wrong before they actually do it. Greedy.
