Pros

Flexible schedule and nice team members to work with

Cons

Can not trust upper management or HR staff. This company expects all employees to pick up extra work as other employees leave, no compensation no bonus for doing so. Annual merit raise is a joke, 2%! Salary is very low. Benefits are not good, high deductible with insurance and not great coverage

Pros

The job is incredibly flexible and allows for people to make their own schedules. Working with caregivers is incredibly rewarding work. The individual people I interact with on a day to day basis are wonderful.

Cons

The organization as a whole continues to make it clear they do not value employees. Benefits are HORRIBLE. Raises are, at best, approximately 2% a year - if at all. Long term employee salaries are not adjusted to reflect the current market, leading to a number of people leaving the job after many years. HR is inflexible and unwilling to discuss salary for existing employees. Caseloads are consistently too high and managers are not able to get approval to hire until people are way over a reasonable caseload number. Turnover is high due to benefits and lack of value by the organization.

Pros

The flexibility while working remotely

Cons

Corporate does not care for the employees who are actually dealing with the families. Pay is not adequate for this day and age (haven't had an increase in four years). Benefits SUCK!!! All promotions and new hires are in the top tier leaving the working class to do the job of two to three people
