If you have no better options, sure, take a job at Cargomatic, but keep your search going. It’s not a matter of if, but when you will be laid off: I’ve seen people of all levels get canned after a few months or many years of service. They will often lay people off while interviewing/hiring people for the same job title at the same time. Management will always optimize for the next balance sheet vs. building a healthy sustainable company. Priorities change every other week and everybody will have to switch gears and drop all the work they’ve been doing to focus on the next shiny thing.

Cargomatic is an extremely dysfunctional company. It is being ran as a never ending startup. Long work hours and unrealistic quotas and expectations. Executive management does not know how to install effective processes and procedures. Long daily internal meetings that accomplish nothing outside of management criticizing and threatening you for not meeting their demands. There are constant layoffs, including certain senior management positions. Their systems are a nightmare and do not cohere with each other, which makes it nearly impossible to work efficiently. Cargomatic is not a tech company, they have a poorly ran tech department instead. Majority of the employees are now outsourced. High turnover rate due to burnout and harassment. There is no training, you are expected to figure out assignments on your own. Employees are treated as a number, nothing more. Use your best judgment on the authenticity of the good reviews.
