Pros
-Nice location, garage parking -New section of office space (the only section they show in the pictures... the majority is standard cubicles)
Cons
Where to start? Aside from a core group of veterans, there is a high amount of employee turnover. Lots of office politics and low morale. The company has grown over the last few years, but is still managed and budgeted like a struggling start-up. The attitude at the company is that the sky is perpetually falling. Very stressful work environment. Due to the uncertainty of winning contracts, Carney is chronically understaffed trying to meet deadlines or win contracts. Employees are expected to work overtime and be in constant contact with the office. Upper management frequently mismanages budget (for example, there is no hesitation buying themselves new iPhones/iPads each release), but they refuse to invest in their most important resource - the employees. There is not much room for growth, and training opportunities are rare. Suggestions for innovation and process improvements are generally ignored.
