Overworked with no promotions

Pros

Good coworkers and that’s about it

Cons

Overworked with no offer of promotion. They expect you to do more than what you were hired for because people are dropping like flies. You can be doing senior/manager level work with a junior level title and all you get is a pat on the back. They moved to WFH during COVID but are forcing people back into the office soon. Not really good for employee morale.

Not great

Pros

- PTO - Easy opening/closing procedures - Associates work hard

Cons

- I never had a defined role, I spent most of my time cashiering as a manager and I felt uninspired - Some managers in this company have a “mean girl” mentality and gossip about other managers and associates - Absolutely NOTHING matters unless you open credit cards. Your store could look like trash, understaffed , drama… but if you are opening credit cards you are praised to no end by upper management. - Associates have so much pressure for cards but they are paid VERY low and get no bonus except maybe a chocolate bar from the SM
