Pros
- Great people - CEO is very approachable and kind - Mentor program gives you an opportunity to learn from other leaders. - Development opportunities - Opportunities for advancement, if you work hard and put in the effort. - Employee discount is helpful if you're a parent :) - Office space is lovely, free coffee and sodas. - Gym on site, I believe I paid $20/month. They have fun classes too!
Cons
- Work/life balance is basically non-existent. - Everyone sits in a very open work space and it is extremely loud due to wood floors and high, open ceilings with visible ductwork. It is hard to get quality work done during peak business hours. - Little to no work from home opportunities. Office is located in Buckhead, so be sure you're willing to make that drive before you accept an offer! Even working from home one day a week would have been a big help. - Working overnight for long stretches of time for costing meetings instead of actually going to Hong Kong to have face-to-face meetings, though I know they have been trying to reduce this. - No support when there are vacancies in your department, be it from someone leaving the company or being on maternity leave. Nobody has time to help out, and if you try to make a plan for these instances nothing is followed through with. - Questionable leadership at higher levels. There are many leaders that are extremely smart and very good at their jobs, however aren't the best at managing people. - Designers run the show. Generally what they want trumps anything else, even if it's not a smart business decision. Other departments have to work even harder to keep everything on track based on their decisions.
