It's important to us that we provide a good benefits package, and it is a priority of ours to continue to improve our compensation and benefits offerings. I have been working for this company for the last 2.5 years and it is the best preschool I have been at. I have made life long friends, learned skills for my profession, and feel fulfilled coming to work everyday.

Pros

Promotion opportunities, you see the positive impact you have on children, you get to be creative, being a teacher here is a great entry level role to take a first step into the education field

Cons

Heavy workload, inadequate onboarding and training process, there seems to always be lots of changes happening throughout the company and everybody always has a different understanding of what exactly is happening with the changes, often have to do overtime to make deadlines even with impeccable time management

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience working for us. We agree that the best thing about what we do is the positive impact we have on children's lives. We acknowledge that our staff work hard each day to ensure we provide the best care. Over the last few years, we have worked to build channels to continuously communicate with our center staff. Through newsletters, monthly calls, SharePoint resources and bi-weekly email updates we've been able to better connect our staff with what's happening in the organization. We are open to hearing feedback from our staff as there are always more ways to get the word out. We are committed to continuing to work on innovative and progressive ways to address these challenges. In relation to our 'lump sum' payments to qualifying staff, we are working to provide additional compensation when finances allow. It is our hope that with on-going hiring of staff, and upcoming operational improvements, we will be able to balance workloads more accordingly.
