      Pros

      honestly, I love my job, I get to see so many new faces a day and have a conversation with people who want to wear Western attire, the job is to help those people, find whatever they need. It is especialy fun when you find a customer whos new to it, and help them approach a new style, and how things fit and what speciifcs they want out of the merchandise.

      Cons

      its tougher than it looks, there is more stress and physical labor than mentioned.

      If you like working with people, this is your place. Its demanding, & not everyday is full of sunshine. It can be very satisfying, heartbreaking, mind boggling, among many other adjectives

      Cons

      Long hours, cliquish, rude customers, MANAGEMENT. Management runs off a lot of GREAT KNOWLEDGEABLE employees. People that LIVE the western lifestyle, have a knack for the products. If you excel in your knowledge of products over the management, they will make it a very hostile environment. I have worked there twice, out sold most,but I have an extensive knowledge of products, from boots, to hats, to clothing, to service; If you take pride in taking care of your customers, and going above & beyond, for them to return, you are ridiculed, bullied, disrespected, shunned, hrs cut, set up, sabotaged, stabbed in the back by management, unfair practices at the store level, manipulation, fabrication of facts, promises/promotions/bonuses given for those that provide written statements that are untrue.
