Pros

Big focus on work-life balance for salespeople at least, I always got paid on time, really liked my manager and his manager, they really trusted their employees. CEO Jan is a good guy and a good leader.

Cons

Not the worst company in the world but definitely explore other opportunities first. The time I was there was fraught with personnel problems on the implementation side of the house. I'm talking 12 weeks of lead time to project kickoff. This KILLED my deals when I told customers that they would have to pay for 3 months of their subscription without even getting to use it. This was because they panic fired many people at the start of the pandemic. Turns out, ecommerce did really well and this was a bad move. It was not a cultural fit for me. Lots of gen X people trying a little too hard to make it a hip startup which it really is not. I got lucky with a great manager, a couple of the sales managers are really oldschool sales guys who I could never see myself working for. They dove full-force into the diversity and inclusion thing in the wake of George Floyd. Work here if you're into that kind of thing.

Pros

Most people are really nice and helpful in the office and their product is great. Free lunch twice a week. And flexibility to wfh almost all week is amazing.

Cons

My experience at Celigo was nothing but awful. Although I really liked the people in the office but NOT the direct people I reported to. I wasn’t put on a project for over 3 months. The implementation consultant role isn’t technical at all. It’s more like being on the phone and telling customers how the product works so there is no growth . I wouldn’t recommend you to join the company for the implementation consultant role unless you are looking for no work life balance , micromanagement and no respect for employees.

Pros

The front-line team I worked with throughout my years at Celigo were absolutely amazing individuals!

Cons

Management is in complete disarray. There is a constant shift of company objectives leading to poor execution and a complete distrust of leadership to accomplish anything meaningful. Leadership’s focus seems to be on cashing out on an exit in the next few years rather than fixing the problems at hand. New ideas are always solicited but seldom listened to.
