Pros

If you are a true Sales Pro, this is the job for you. Retail clerks have no place here. The job is 100% commission which motivates me to sell a ton and stand out in the crowd. Cellular Sales is awesome because they don't want young kids working a register; you have to work! I've made $4k or better every month of the 14 months I've worked here. One month I made a little over $6000! The retail traffic is good but I can also make appointments and b2b sales on the side to supplement the commission I make in the stores.

Cons

In my region there is a really slow and crappy store in Germantown, MD. Other than that, I love everything.

Pros

Good money if you are willing to work 6-7 days a week sometimes 12 hr days. You can make good money doing this is you are good at selling. If you just want to clerk this job you probably won't make it. There are bonus levels that must be reached each month.

Cons

Chargebacks for customers that deactivate their account within 181 days. Inventory has to be done twice daily. Anything missing in the store is charged to you. That would be accessories, and phones. If accessories are stolen or missing for whatever reason you pay. If phones are stolen in a robbery you won't be charged. If they are missing for any other reason the cost will come out of your check. Sometimes there is not enough shifts to work a full 40 hours. Also there are a couple shady reps and a coach that can end up costing you money. Management (CSOKI Maryland) does not know how to manage their reps and ends up losing respect. No vacation or sick time benefits. If you take off you make no money. They also will not hire you if you are in college. I heard this on a conference call. This is because your shifts will vary every 4-6 weeks. You have to work weekend and evenings if you want to make money.

Pros

Love the customers. Still can make ok money but have to work a lot harder and more time.

Cons

The company politics and constantly changing commission. The leadership is based on sales and not managerial experience. No consistency with management. It's all about drinking the cool-aid. If you don't drink it and speak out about what would make things better, you are told you are negative.
